Summary:

    The article talks about the research of income mobility in America and discusses about the survey result of New York country. 

    The research said that Manhattan, our guess for where we should go for growing income, is the worst place in helping poor children up. The place is only better than about 7 percent of countries in the U.S., and it is relatively worse for poor girls than poor boys. 

    The analysis said that if you are poor and live in New York area, living in Putnam is better, and the younger you are when you move to the place, the better you will earn on average. The researchers found five factors are relative to social mobility: segregation by income and race, school's quality, level of income inequality, rates of violent crime, and share of two-parent households. The effect of places are sharper for boys than girls. 

    In some places of the research the new estimates of mobility conflict with earlier estimates. It happened from which way the survey used.

Abstract

Planned Parenthood is accused to do fetal tissue donation by anti-abortion.

My summary 

      Whether people should make abortion or not is a discuss for a long time.  Recently anti-abortion activists released videos about Planned Parenthood, the US nonprofit organization, secretly talked about fetal tissue donations.  In this video, Colorado-based Dr. Savita Ginde demonstrated the technique how to procurement of fetal tissue and even discussed the reimbursement cost.  And it shakes the America society. 
      Although the temporary restraining order against the fetal donations having surreptitiously further footage, the Colorrado seemed to no influence in the video.  It also point to Planned Parenthood is involved in the illegal sale of fetal. 
      Planned Parenthood hold their tongue and the Executive Cecile Richards apologized their employee featured and discussed medical and scientific topic is upsetting to hear in the video, but emphasized they do noting illegal.  The foggy measure of legislative hurdle is not clear,  but the medical services provider has been defund.

The compound event for the flooding is going to risk the coastal central cities all over the world.

My summary 
      Researchers released a new study in Nature Climate Change point that in the process of investigation for how to underestimate the flooding accurately researchers discover the compound events consist of storm surge and high precipitation to trigger flooding significantly increase over the past 100 years.

This discovery urge scientists redesign the method to estimate the flood zone because the past scientists analyzed storm surge and high precipitation separately to define the flood zone.

The number of compound events risk the coastal cities that prone to be threatened by hurricanes and large storm especially for the East and Gulf coast.  In addition, sea level will raise by 10 feet above current levels within the next century in light of high greenhouse gases.  If the high emissions continuing, the huge vital coastal cities such as New York City, London will meet the risk of being covered by sea water or flooding and become uninhabitable.

My summary 

      In the light of new study from Nature Climate Change, the traditional climate analyzing way points out the storm surge and high precipitation occur at the same time.
       Flood zones and devise preparedness planes was defined by researching the storm surges and high rainfall separately in the past.  However, this method discovers that storm surges occurs at the same time as high rainfall recent years.  It means that when storm surges come down it includes high precipitation, and bring compound disaster events for more than past 100 years.
     The risk of compound events tremendous varies from place to place such hurricane and enormous storm prone to visiting the East and Gulf coast than the West coast.  But the study warns that if the high emissions continues increasing, in this century we could view not mere storm surges and precipitation but the multi-meter sea level to flooding many significant coastal cities.
