Australia Develops New Technology to Fight Graffiti

Abstract

Mousetrap create the unprecedented method to resolves the graffiti problem on Syndney Train in Australia. 

My summary 

    Graffiti is terrible trouble throughout the world.  No matter how effort police  do they still cannot stop the spray paint word, artwork or others appear on building, trains and bus.   

      In the past, Australia's Syndney Trains used surveillance cameras to help police officers find the site where an illegal writer was painting on train cars.  But this design doesn't appropriate the train with a huge of cars because it needs to watch camera without blinking.  Last year,Syndney Trains spent up to $34million to clean up these graffitis, but now they have new technology to catch these illegal graffiti writter.

      Mousetrap, was developed by Technique Risk, an Australian company.  The sensor is hidden behind the wall secretly and it can identify gases from markers and spray paint when someone starts drawing the graffiti.  After Mousetrap recognizes the smell, it will connect with surveillance camera and send the message to an alarm.

      Now Moustrap has work perfectly to not mere release Sydney's train free from graffiti hell but also save a lot of money from $34 million to remove graffiti to $500,000 to put the system in place.
