Abstract

Law registering hard to keep pace with business model in technology.

My summary 

      Airbnb and Ubar both are the newtechnology that provide the driving and home-sharing.  Although the public love the new service, its own backyard is complicated.

      How often people can rent out their houses and apartment online is s a question that has existed in Airbnb for a long time.  On, July 14th, San Franciso Board of Supervisor vote to sustain policy that the 90-day cap in place when the host is not present and allow unlimited day when the host is present.  However, the vote is laughed at "somewhat moot".  Early, a measure qualified would cap both hosted and unhosted rentals at days per day to avoid problems sparked by Airbnb.

      Some locals have been evicted from their home by landlord hoping to rent them out on Airbnb.  According to San Francisco Chronicle points that there are up to 150 homes to be rented full-time, suggesting that might be stock taken out of the strapped rental market.

Besides, short-term rental would not make sure the quality of community.  Furthermore it could bing a city to a city solely of short-term rentals.  The local government struggle to update longstanding regulation in light of new technology.  

      In this era, the economy and business models are changing too rapidly to put such a high bar in place for updating related laws.  San Franciso Board story warns other city lawmakers, cautioned against deciding this issue by ballot, because after a law is put in place that way, officials must return to voters in order to make any changes to it.

    開頭很簡潔也引人入勝~但中間有滿多句子來自文章,建議能多用自己的話描述!
    像中間能先提Airbnb討論出的房出租規定-->房東在租屋時間無限制 AND 房東不在只能租屋90天內 與San Francisco的早一周提到的短租議案規定-->不論房東在不在只能租屋75天/1年 互相牴觸(雖然這議案大部分房東都沒遵守),再提到San Francisco最近的房屋爭議,如被房東趕出去的當地人希望能長期租Airbnb、房東呆在家收房租就夠支付開銷等...問題,和詳細報告指出Airbnb幫助專門出租房生意更好(be stocked out of strapped rental market),之後在用你後面寫的結尾就更棒哩
    建議的方法是能讀完文章(多遍)並用中文把整篇大義描述一遍再翻成英文,就能有更多自己的話語 :)
